East Nashville Hope Exchange is proud to accept a Dollar General Literacy Grant to help fund our school year tutoring program, which parents, families and teachers have been requesting for a long time. As students leave the summer program each year, ENHE focuses on how to support the continued literacy growth of students during the school year. Families continue to request tutoring for students, and ENHE is growing to meet this need. In 2016-2017, ENHE has a new focus on ensuring all students who need tutoring are able to get tutoring. ENHE will be providing tutoring for up to 30 students this year and will continue to work with neighborhood partners to provide additional tutoring options for ENHE students. ENHE will also continue to work with the whole family throughout the school year in our School Year Program Literacy Workshop series.
